Welcome! I’m glad we’ve found each other—I’ve been waiting for you.  I truly believe we are on a journey together as we return home.  Here is a bit more about mine.

To simplify my story: it’s one of awakening through deep pain and struggle. It didn’t start that way; I had a beautiful and loving childhood as the daughter of Lutheran missionary parents.  My childhood was filled with travel, love, and guidance. However, in my twenties, I experienced great pain, darkness, and a sense of separation from God. I did not seek any spiritual or professional counseling which with some other factors led to 20 years of struggle.  I also graduated from college, got married, and began my adult life.

In my thirties, I was blessed with two wonderful children—miracles in their own right! I also started my own business as an architect and began seeking God again through organized religion. Then, in my forties, I faced divorce, near bankruptcy, and a brush with death, enduring what I now recognize as the true "dark night of the soul."

​

During this dark night, I questioned the God I had known from childhood, feeling that He must be either evil, hate me, or simply cruel. I decided to give this being a timeframe to prove to me if He was real and who He truly was. If nothing happened, I was ready to end our relationship for good. I set ground rules: I would earnestly seek Him/Her/It during this time and allow Him to reveal Himself to me, letting go of my childhood beliefs. I committed to dedicating all my free time to this quest.  (I only use "him" as a generic pronoun to describe what I have come to know as "all").  I "gave" God 6 weeks over the lent season.

Over the next six weeks, the insights I received were profound and miraculous. During this period, A Course in Miracles entered my life,  and the true teachings of Jesus unfolded before me. This text aligned beautifully with the quantum physics and metaphysical concepts I had also been led to during this magical 6 weeks. God began to make so much more sense to me on every level.  Much of it enhanced what I had been taught through mainstream religion, and some of it seemed to contradict some of the teachings.  Through this sincere seeking,  I realized that He was truly loving—and that I had been creating my own misery.

After those six weeks and over the next five years, I experienced profound lessons and witnessed miracles in healing across all areas of my life: spiritual, physical, emotional, financial, and relational. I learned about true forgiveness and what it takes to live in freedom. Since then, my journey has continued to deepen, with experiences of love, peace, freedom and joy becoming an ever-greater part of my daily life. I’ve also embraced channeling, meditation (stillness) and seek guidance each day.

Now, I’m happily remarried to the man of my dreams. My children are young adults carving out their own unique path.  I also have three lovely stepdaughters and two sons-in-law. I live in a beautiful house that I designed, along with a dream farm in Iowa that my husband and I are restoring. My business is now flourishing, and I am fortunate to work with an amazing team. Our family is completed by two dogs, a cat, and a bird!  All I can say is there is so much truth in "seek ye first the Kingdom of God and all else will be added unto you".

One night I asked the Holy Spirit to give me my "life verse".  Here is what came immediately:  1 Peter 2:9

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of the darkness into His marvelous light".

 

The marvelous light is that of which we all are.  Its time for our souls to remember who we are.

This is my calling.
